Oh well, back to work... *disappears*

public class Bum extends Person implements Laziness.

[Oh Life]

Yes, I'm still a bum at this moment. If you're wondering why I'm still at home enjoying these carefree days, it's because my start date of work was moved to the 23 of this month (yup, 2 more weeks of wahooo!) because of change in project demand.

So what keeps me busy, you might ask. Well, here it goes:

I usually wake up at 8 AM. It's somewhat weird that I wake up almost at the same time of the day even though I don't use an alarm clock to wake me up. After I go off from bed, I go straight to my ever loyal PC (which is close to my bed) to check on messages that may have been left while I was sleeping and also my restless alchemist vending in RO (hoping some of my stuffs are sold XD).

After fixing myself and eating breakfast, I go straight to the living room to watch the NBA Playoffs on TV (I wished the Kings will make it to the Finals, but sad to say, they got eliminated in the first round; Ray Allen's got game especially in the last one). I stay in front of the TV usually until lunchtime wherein I will prepare lunch (with my siblings).

Now after lunch, you will see me in my room playing RO. It's not 8 hours or more of hacking and slashing monsters but rather my playing time is mostly spent on talking to my fellow friends in-game. There goes the daily conference of the Shadow Circle and the guild chats that's usually silent only when there's one or two members only online. Only lately was I addicted to playing my alchemist that you cannot usually talk with me (I can't even reply on time in my phone, lol).

And so, usually at 2-3 AM the next day, I go to sleep.

Fairly simple lifestyle, huh?

the hardest riddle on the internet.

This is by far the coolest riddle I have seen on the internet (not to mention this is really giving me a hard time, lol). Just don't use any walkthroughs so that you will be challenged with the riddles given. Please take not that I will not be responsible for any unnecessary events that may happen such as insanity.

I'm currently at level 14. This is really cool! XD

birthday facts and numbers.

Argh!! I turned 21 today >.<

Well, here's some numbers that might be of interest or something which I found on my birth certificate (product of my employment papers XD)

1984 : year I was born
0548H : time I was born
41 : length of pregnancy of my mom (in weeks)
6 pounds 2 ounces : my weight at birth
41 : age of my father when I was born
34 : age of my mother when I was born
1 : number of children living before me (who was deceased already)

Lastly, I'm not born in an hospital; I was born in a clinic just beside St. Therese Chapel (it was a clinic back then, the one located in the Gonzales' compound).

down.

It hasn't been a good and productive weekend for me.

In my few remaining weeks as a bum (and also a regular resident of Los Baños), I planned to do a lot of things which, due to sickness, made me impossible to accomplish. >.<

It is uncommon for me to be seen lying in the bed sick (I can say that even with my light build, I'm "built to last" XD). But like everything else, there comes a point when our body says "enough", especially when you're subject to so much stress that It is advisable for you to take a break and have a well-deserved rest. *ZzZzzz*

There's so many factors that could have contributed to this state my body is in. First, there is the academics thing (I have been restless especially for the last few weeks of the academic year just to have a chance of graduating, which I did get). Second, the frequent trips to nearby towns and cities to process my employment papers (for the last 4 working days, I have been out of town just to do this burning my energy and my pocket). And third, even though my academic life is done and over with, I made it up to the other aspects of my life which again stole some precious hours of sleep (Naghahanap lang talaga yata ako ng sakit).

---------------------------

Let me elaborate on my trips on the four days I have mentioned:

Tuesday, April 12
(see my previous post)

Wednesday, April 13
To partially complete my employment papers, I headed to San Pablo City (about 45 minutes jeepney ride from Los Baños) to process my Social Security application and NBI clearance. Unluckily, I was only able to process my SSS application since the NBI clearance requires a cedula.

Thursday, April 14
Back to San Pablo, now armed with my newly acquired cedula *shines*. And so I got my NBI clearance *shines*

Friday, April 15
Off to the NCR to submit my requirements and retake my x-ray (and I paid for it x_x) in Makati and go to Quezon City (specifically in Katipunan) afterwards to meet some of my guildmates in Shadow Circle (pRO).

Good thing this happened before I start to work. Now I really have to rethink about my sleeping habits x_x

4 hours.

Prelude:

Sorry I haven't updated my blog for quite some time. As you know, I am really a busy individual trying to catch up the graduation march this April 23. Luckily enough, I made it.. 17 years of going to school just came to an end (well actually, it's not yet over.. I still need to march, lol).

And you know what? I'll be starting to work on April 25.. just 2 days after my graduation march. Geez, I am really a busy man. Now you might ask, "Are you enjoying your vacation?". Well, I am not. I am processing my employment papers at this moment.

Now, moving on...

Last Monday was a big decision day for me.. To sign or not to sign, that is the question. One thing to consider was money over better experience. Well, most of my schoolmates choose or prefer money over better experience but as for me, I prefer the latter (at this moment). You see, I think I still lack the knowledge (even introductory or basic) in the common trends in IT today and the company I signed with (yeah, the next day, I signed with them for at least the next 2 years) isn't focused on one technology alone. Well I guess, I'm still more of an ideal or principle-oriented type of an individual rather than being a practical one. You could say I can study the technology outside work but no one could tell.. 8 hours or more of my day will go to work; and please give me a break, I still have my life to live, especially now that I will be all by myself living in the city.

Now after signing the contract, I went for a medical examination. The hospital environment really makes me sick, lol. It's been a while since I entered and was examined in a hospital (I guess the last one was before I went to college for a check-up). But then, for employment's sake, I took the examination.

After the medical exam, I headed to the company's office to return the certification that I completed the said exam. While walking, my phone rang. It was from the other company I took the test on, asking me if I could be scheduled for an interview today.

It happened 4 hours after I "said" 'Yes'.

hints of who i am.

Yesterday, a friend of mine gave me a link to brainbench.com, a site full of tests for personality assessment, employment, etc. Well, I took the time to have their personality assessment test which is found here. One thing that reminds me of this was when I took an employment exam for a company, which gave me a test like this one. So here's what went out after the test. I answered it as honest as possible so I guess this is something about me that maybe I'm not able to see by myself (I remember the _____ window something XD)

My Social Boldness: Introverted VS Extraverted
You are quite introverted. Socially, you prefer a more
relaxed, low-key environment, rather than the hustle and
bustle of a wild night in the city. You tend not to talk a
lot, but when you do people listen, because when you say
something it has meaning. You are not seeking the
limelight, usually you prefer to let the attention-mongers
do their thing while you observe. In an unfamiliar setting,
you tend to be cautious and shy while you evaluate the
circumstances. You prefer to avoid conflict, so you do not
put yourself into a threatening situation. Your shyness may
be perceived as unfriendly, but that could not be further
from the truth. People need to be patient with you and take
the time to get to know the complex, private you.

My Agreeableness: Candid VS Considerate
You are moderately considerate. You are an agreeable
person. This means that you are well liked and people
really enjoy your company. And why wouldn't they? People
can sense that you are taking a genuine interest in them
and this makes them feel special and as a result, they have
high regards for you. With your altruistic personality, you
get a lot of practice at making people feel special. In
fact, you feel great joy when you help others. Another nice
feature you possess is your ability to cooperate. Not
everyone can do this, so it is very important in a meeting
or social situation to have someone like you present in
order to maintain a harmonious situation. This comes from
your tendency to want equality and fairness. In dealing
with others, you prefer not to manipulate people instead
you tend to be open and sincere. This makes you a popular
and well-respected individual.

My Self-Control: Impulsive VS Cautious
You are moderately impulsive. At times you can be
impulsive, but not to the point where you are jeopardizing
work or relationships. You know when to follow rules, but
you also know when to bend rules that are not set in stone.
If your home or work space gets a little messy, you do not
get upset or feel compelled to tidy up. You do not have to
have perfect order in your life to feel good about yourself
or your environment. You tend to be more on the fun side of
spontaneity, and enjoy being flexible with your plans and
your life. In general, you prefer to make short-term goals
rather than long-term goals.

My Anxiety Level: Excitable VS Relaxed
You are moderately excitable. In trying situations, you
feel somewhat stressed and frustrated. At times you are
able to overcome these feelings, but other times you feel
overwhelmed. This could run the gamut of just being in a
bad mood to experiencing anxiety, anger, or depression. In
general, you prefer a stress-free existence, so that the
possibility of negative emotions would not be a factor. You
tend to be somewhat self-conscious in social situations,
and are worried that people may judge or criticize you. You
may react emotionally to people or circumstances that you
find threatening, because you want to protect yourself.
Every so often you cave into urges or cravings. Sometimes
you feel a little guilty about it, other times you are just
fine with your fun streak.

My Openness to Change: Practical VS Imaginative
You are quite practical. You want just the facts - keep it
plain and simple. You are practical, pragmatic and well
grounded. You have no time for carelessness and
impracticality. You prefer to keep your emotions to
yourself, rather than exposing your feelings to the world.
Life moves along much better for you when you can maintain
a schedule and have routine in your life. Unexpected
surprises and chaos are a major inconvenience to you. You
tend to be conservative and are somewhat resistant to
change. Others respect your ability to act properly in your
everyday life.

The way I Think/Reason: Concrete VS Abstract
You are very concrete in your thinking. You tend to prefer
the plain, straightforward, and obvious to the complex,
ambiguous, and subtle. You might even regard the arts and
sciences with suspicion, regarding these endeavors as
abstruse or of no practical use. You believe that
intellect should not be equated with intelligence, as
intellect is an intellectual style, not an intellectual
ability.
